Front cover image and masthead really suit the genre of the magazine. Cover lines are well laid out on the right hand side, however the James Sterling! cover line doesn't really go with the rest of the front cover. Strong Contents Page that is well organised, however I would expect to see page number on any photos on your contents page. Good DPS although it is a shame that your Pull Quote partially obscures your writin.
I think that the masthead is really striking and a good name for the genre of your magazine. I also like how the name of the artist James Stirling is really obvious. The contents page is my favourite page with lots of detail and giving you a good insight to the articles in the magazine, it's also very easy to navigate around. All four images in the magazine are very effective and good shots. However both the picture on the Front Cover and the DPS are quite similar! On the DPS the quote used isn't in the best place.
I like the idea of the red stripes with the writing over the top because it draws the reader in to look at who the magazine will staring. I like the colour scheme of the magazine throughout with the red, blue and white. I like the way that the double page spread is half image half text because most people wouldnt want to read alot of text and it also draws the reader in.
i like the masthead and the fact that it blends in with the colour of the your hat. the contents page is very clear to read. the images are very simple which gives more focus on the wrighting. your magazine is very unique, in its own little way. :)
The colours of this magazine work really well together. The masthead is clear, and stands out well. The picture on the front cover is effective and works well with the rest of your magazine.
